Amy Muise is a pro-choice feminist who studies sexuality and relationships. She has a Master’s degree in Human Sexuality and is currently a PhD student and human sexuality researcher in the Applied Social Psychology program at the University of Guelph. Her research interests include sexuality and the Internet, women’s sexuality, sexual well-being, dating and relationships.
She has been a teaching assistant for university level courses on human sexuality, couple and family relationships and human development. She currently sits on the board of directors for Planned Parenthood of Waterloo Region (PPWR) and works towards providing information and promoting awareness about healthy sexuality and choice at universities and in the community. She is also involved with the Canadian Sex Research Forum (CSRF), a national organization for the promotion of sexuality research, and is the student rep for the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS). |
