Jenny Blaser is currently in her second year of study at the University of Toronto. She is pursuing a major in Linguistics with two minors in Religion and Music History and Culture. Jenny moved to Toronto from Kingston Ontario, in September of 2007. She took little time to become involved in the LGBTT2Q community as a strong activist and role model working with Eagle Canada, Toronto Police Service, the Ministry of Education, The Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto, the Ontario Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf, The Rainbow Health Network and The Triangle Program. The main focus of her activism has been the education system and ensuring that schools are safer, equitable spaces for all students regardless of their differences.
Jenny is also an active member of the Deaf community, as well as the DisAbled community. She brings her experiences as a woman with disabilities and to SHEPP with a goal of trying to improve accessible sexual health and pleasure education to youth and adults with disabilities, their caregivers, and support services. |
